Cosy Logs is a small family run business selling quality kiln dried hardwood, kindling and firelighters. We use locally sourced timber which is processed and dried to create the prefect logs for wood burners, open fires, chimeneas, firepits and pizza ovens!
We are based at Ings, between Kendal and Windermere so are ideally located to supply logs across the South Lakes. Nick has been selling firewood for many years, with his wife Clare joining the business full time in 2015. Alongside the firewood business Nick and Clare also farm 400 sheep and 25 cows.
With the expansion of Cosy Logs and a growing demand for kiln dried firewood the decision was made in 2014 to install our own purpose built log drying kiln allowing us to process and kiln dry logs here on site.
